Kemelle Deeble
I’m Kemelle Deeble, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I help people build stronger relationships with others — and with themselves — by understanding emotional patterns, increasing self-awareness, and developing healthy coping strategies.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and humanistic. I integrate evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care to tailor sessions to your unique needs. I work well with clients who feel stuck in cycles of people-pleasing, low self-esteem, difficulty setting boundaries, or relationship struggles.
My ideal client is someone who’s ready to dig deeper — whether they’re navigating family dynamics, struggling with confidence, or repeating old patterns in relationships. I also have experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, including self-harm, psychiatric histories, and diagnoses such as anxiety, BPD, ADHD, and depression.
Before psychotherapy, I worked across crisis intervention and residential care roles, including at Youthdale Treatment Centres and Eva’s Phoenix, supporting youth and adults in acute and transitional care. These experiences inform my trauma-sensitive, grounded approach.I’m also a second-generation Jamaican, a wife, and a mom of two. These parts of my identity ground me in cultural humility and give me a personal understanding of the complexities of family, identity, and emotional resilience.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe to show up as you are — not where you feel judged or rushed. My role is to help you slow down, explore your thoughts and feelings, and create change that aligns with your values.
If you’re looking for a therapist who blends clinical expertise with warmth and real-world experience, I’d love to connect.
