Hello! I’m Samantha, a Certified Music Therapist, Intern Therapist, and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

As a queer woman of colour, I’m deeply committed to creating an inclusive, safe space where all clients feel heard, respected, and valued. My journey in music therapy highlighted the powerful role music plays in healing, inspiring me to pursue additional training in psychotherapy. This enables me to integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches to best meet each client’s unique needs.

Being a queer Chinese-Canadian woman with Jamaican roots, I understand how culture, identity, and lived experiences intersect. I celebrate diversity and honor the unique backgrounds of every individual I work with. I’m passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ and racialized teens, young adults, adults, and elders through their personal journeys.

In therapy, I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can openly explore your thoughts and emotions. Building trust is essential, ensuring you feel respected and supported every step of the way on your path to healing.

My approach is holistic and client-centered, blending cognitive-behavioural, humanistic, and solution-focused techniques. I tailor therapy to align with your personal needs and goals, helping you develop emotional wellbeing, resilience, and inner strength.

If you're ready to begin your journey toward healing and personal growth, I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

"Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up.”
