I am a Filipino Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, burnout, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Many of the individuals I support appear capable and high-functioning on the outside while internally feeling overwhelmed, self-critical, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted. They may find themselves caught between who they are and who they feel they should be, leaving little room to understand their own needs, values, and sense of self.

As an immigrant, I understand how culture, identity, family expectations, and experiences of belonging can shape the way we relate to ourselves and others. I am passionate about helping clients better understand who they are beneath the expectations, roles, and pressures that may have influenced how they see themselves. Together, we slow things down and explore the emotions, experiences, and patterns that may be contributing to distress. Often, these patterns developed as ways of coping or protecting ourselves but may now leave us feeling stuck, depleted, or disconnected from who we want to be.

Prior to becoming a therapist, I have worked with children and families in daycare and after-school settings. These experiences deepened my appreciation for how early relationships and developmental experiences shape our identity, self-worth, emotional well-being, and ability to connect with others. This perspective continues to inform my work as I support clients in understanding how their past experiences may be influencing their present challenges.

I strive to provide a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where you do not need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. I believe clients are the experts of their own lives, and my role is to walk alongside them with care, curiosity, and respect. Drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-based, parts-work, mindfulness, and compassion-focused approaches, I tailor therapy to each individual's unique needs while supporting greater self-understanding, resilience, and a stronger connection to themselves and others.
