You are not meant to face life challenges alone! I’d be honoured to journey alongside you!
My deepest passion is to offer a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where you can freely explore your thoughts and feelings, gain new insight, and develop practical skills for change. I believe every person’s story, values, and relationships carry inherent potential for hope and growth. In our work together, these will be honoured as sources of resilience and renewal.
With over 25 years of experience supporting youth, adults, and couples, and a Master of Divinity (MDiv) specializing in Clinical Counselling, I bring an integrative approach tailored to your lived experience. My practice weaves together proven mental health modalities with your unique personal, cultural, and faith identity—allowing us to address immediate challenges, gently unpack persistent patterns, and equip you with resources for ongoing well-being.
My niche lies in helping adults and teens who find themselves overwhelmed by stress, loss of meaning, self-worth, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or difficult family and cultural dynamics. I am particularly attuned to clients navigating issues related to perfectionism, trauma, addictions (hypersexuality, pornography, gambling, gaming, shopping), as well as supporting family members of addicted persons, journeying toward more authentic, connected ways of purpose-driven living.
Drawing on my own path—from growing up in the Middle East to starting a new life in Canada—I offer culturally sensitive support in both English and Arabic, particularly around life transitions, grief, relationship and marital challenges, and existential or faith-based concerns.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered, drawing from evidence-based methods such as Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT/EFIT), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), and Narrative Therapy. My experience in corporate work environments enriches my ability to adapt communication, solve problems, and advocate for your needs. I continually seek to honour diverse cultural, spiritual, and religious frameworks.
Above all, I am committed to empathy, collaborative partnership, and affirming your dignity as a wholesome human person. Whatever your story, you deserve to be heard and supported as you reclaim hope, resilience, and meaning—one compassionate step at a time.
