Module 2: The Impact of Racial Trauma on the Black Psyche and Body This module explores the physiological and psychological impact of racial trauma on the nervous system, brain, and body. Participants will examine ancestral wounds, generational trauma, and intersectional experiences using Africentric and neuroscience-based models, deepening their capacity to notice and care for embodied trauma. Learning Objectives: ● Explore how racial trauma affects the nervous system/body, mental health, and relationships ● Understand intersectionality (e.g., gender, faith, class) in the experience of trauma ● Recognize generational and collective trauma patterns
