Joyce Lee
Joyce is a compassionate, warm, and empathetic person who enjoys journeying with individuals, young adults, newlywed couples and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Joyce is passionate about working with clients who are experiencing life transitions, stress, developmental issues, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, self-differentiation, relationship difficulties, emotional distress, and emotional dysregulation. Her goal is to holistically guide her clients towards emotional, relational, and spiritual growth, as they work towards achieving their therapeutic goals.
Joyce’s approach to therapy is to work collaboratively with her clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. She aims to gain a deeper understanding of her clients’ values so that she can better assist her clients in navigating their life’s challenges. Joyce utilizes the following evidence-based modalities: family systems, person-centred therapy, relational therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy. She offers therapy in both Korean and English.

"Problems are the cutting edge that distinguishes between success and failure. Problems call forth our courage and our wisdom; indeed, they create our courage and our wisdom. It is only because of problems that we grow mentally and spiritually. It is through the pain of confronting and resolving problems that we learn.”
